Let me tell you, this is one of my favorite properties I've had the pleasure of visiting. This is a perfect community. Everyone is friendly, everything is great, on great rolling hills, and there are so many advantages to living in a place like this. Getting to the community itself is a piece of cake, it is located right off of Highways 75 and 95, just on the edge of Austin, TX.
Tahitian Village makes sure to take care of its residents, and provide them a great amount of quality ammenties as well. There is a golf course, tennis courts, a church, a clubhouse with a daycare, a gas station, salon, private water company, and a convenience store! Speaking of its residents, everyone there is SO friendly. Everyone waves and says hi, you don't have any of the standoffish attitude of the big cities. These people are proud land owners, and you can be too!
Austin is a great place to live near, and is only half an hour away! In case you ever get TOO relaxed, you can always hop in the car and cruise on over to the big city and enjoy fine dining, theater, music (Austin is known for being one of the best Music scenes in the country), and all other kinds of entertainment. It is also home to a major airport, so you don't have to worry about having to drive 2 hours just to catch a flight! Talk about the best of both worlds!
Tahitian Village residents are fortunate to enjoy about 30-40 inches of rainfall per year, measurable snowfall once in a blue moon (every 20 years or so) and the most wonderful fall and spring seasons one can ask for. Yes, the summers are well, hot. Daytime summers range up around 95 degrees with the days cooling down into the mid to upper 80's. Winters are relatively milder. Freezing weather is the oddity rather than typical. Many outdoor activities can be carried on throughout most of the winter months. Aside from the summer, the weather is generally mild for the rest of the year. In fact, I visited in late winter, and people were out playing golf and walking on the trails.
